Miriam’s Hysterectomy Journey with Healthcare Abroad

Miriam from Dublin recently travelled to Spain for a Hysterectomy under the EU Cross Border Healthcare Directive, an initiative in place since 2014 that allows Irish residents to get reimbursed medical treatment in any EU country.
Finding a Solution
“Like many Irish women, I felt let down by the lack of options available for gynaecology treatment in Ireland. Having tried and tried at home, I decided it was time to look for an alternative.
