Chris Sinclair said shortly after her back surgery at HCB Denia, “I shocked myself I could walk without pain. I had been living in hell waiting for surgery at home and now I am pain-free.” Her husband of 53 years, John added, “Everything has not just been 100 per cent it has been 1000 per cent.”
“Her pain was unbearable, and after waiting almost nine years to see a specialist and then being told it might be another four years before she could get an operation, we knew we had to take action and found out about Healthcare Abroad.” Thinking it was too good to be true John, a former paramedic, reached out to a former student who was now a matron at a hospital and with her endorsement, they went ahead.
“Everything has been fantastic. The Healthcare Abroad staff and hospital staff have been brilliant. I had to go through many pre-op tests where I felt like a pin cushion, but the staff were so efficient and caring. Dr. Anwar was so upfront and an absolute gentleman. Through it all the Healthcare Abroad staff made sure we were so well taken care of,” explained Chris. John added, “She had tests in the morning and then once the surgery was decided on, we were amazed to get a phone call at 9:30 pm that night from the anesthesiologist to go over the plans for the surgery – that is true service and concern for the patient. We really appreciated all the Healthcare Abroad and hotel staff but Suzanne’s kindness culminating in bringing Chris flowers really was above and beyond.”
